Privacy notice

How we handle the information you send us through this website.

Who is responsible

TOP.PORATION is the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at support@topporation.com, or by post at our registered address in Riga, Latvia.

What we collect, and why

If you fill in the contact form, we collect the name, email address, company name (optional), project type and message you enter. That is the only personal data this website collects. There is no account system, no newsletter, and no tracking.

We use it for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it. We do not use it for marketing, we do not profile you, and we make no automated decisions about you.

Our legal basis

We rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): you contacted us asking for a reply, and answering you is what you would reasonably expect. If your message concerns a possible contract, we rely on Article 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from your last message to us, then deleted. If your enquiry becomes a project, the relevant correspondence is kept for as long as the business relationship lasts plus any period our accounting and tax obligations require.

Who else sees it

Only the people at our company who need to answer you. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Your enquiry is stored on our own server, hosted within the European Union. Our hosting provider processes it on our behalf and cannot use it for anything else. We do not transfer personal data outside the EU/EEA.

Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies at all. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking, which is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

We store one item in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme preference, saved only if you use the theme switch. It never leaves your device, identifies nobody, and is exempt from consent requirements because you asked for it. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Other websites

Our pages load a web font from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and they receive your IP address as part of that request. No other third-party service is involved, and no third-party script runs on this site.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. In Latvia, that is the Data State Inspectorate.
